Welcome to the Vero Beach Disney Resort! This resort is a property of the Disney Vacation Club. The resort is located two hours away
from Walt Disney World on the Treasure Coast of eastern Florida.

About Disney Vero Beach
Disney Vero Beach Resort is part of the Disney Vacation Club. Located on the beach two hours southeast of Walt Disney World the resort is not overtly Disney-themed, but does have Disney touches and attention
to detail. The resort opened in 1995.
On the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, Disney Vero Beach resort exudes a laid back beach atmosphere. The resort is by the biggest nesting area for the Loggerhead Sea Turtle in the Northern hemisphere. Disney made efforts to minimize impact to the delicate turtles.

Rooms start at $185 per night. Disney Vero Beach does not provide any type of transportation though they offer free parking.
There have been issues with bugs at night, which is to be expected in Florida.
Dining
Enjoy the following dining locations at the Disney Vero Beach Resort:
- Sonya’s has fine dining serving steaks and seafood
- Shutters offers casual sit down eating. A character breakfast is served with the Disney characters, though Mickey does not make an appearance. Also hosts pirate character dinner on Mondays during the summer. Sunday brunch is offered on the beach year-round. Also holds a seafood buffet on Thursday nights seasonally
- Bleachers is a poolside casual eatery and bar serving hamburgers
- Green Cabin Room serves appetizers and drinks in the afternoon and evening

The Vero Beach Disney main pool is shaped like Mickey Mouse and has a nice slide, the Pirate Plunge. Tiger Lily's is a playground. A hot tub also is available for guests.
The Island Grove Packing Company is the gift shop which sells grocery items, souvenirs and theme park tickets.

The Vero Beach Disney Resort is a relaxing, laid back place. In true Disney fashion, Disney Vero Beach Resort is expensive, but well done. A car is useful for exploring since nothing is within walking distance and Disney does not provide transportation. The proximity of Disney Vero Beach to Walt Disney World is a nice plus.
