The Disney Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a AAA Four Diamond award-winning luxury resort at Walt Disney World. As the flagship resort of Disney World, the Victorian themed resort offers top-notch service and amenities to meet your every need.
Perched on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon, the Disney Grand Floridian Resort is themed after Victorian seaside hotels from the turn of the 20th century, such as the Hotel Del Coronado. Opened in 1988, the striking red gabled roof contrasts with the white gingerbread buildings.
The main building hosts the opulent five story lobby with marble floors, a birdcage elevator and stained glass roof domes. Many of the hotels services are in the main building, including dining and shopping.
The resort offers a spa, business center and convention center. It is located near the Disney Wedding Pavilion.
