Find the best Disney Apps for your vacation to Walt Disney World!

There are a host of Disney apps out there and the ones below are worth mentioning. Many of the free ones will display advertisements on the screen.

• WDW Lines by Unofficial Guide people with wait times, menus and prices
• Disney Mobile Magic is the official app of Disney. This visually appealing app is free and features wait times, food information and games. Park maps are GPS capable
  
• Walt Disney World Maps set has full color maps of the theme parks, water parks and Orlando airport. Can help you find ATM or bathrooms. You can use your phone’s GPS to see where you are in the park. This app is visually appealing but receives mixed reviews. Negatives are slow speed, inability to view an entire map on one screen and difficult to use.
  
• Disney World Park Hours Free by VersaEdge is basic but good
• Disney World Countdown by Minneware is simple. It counts down to your vacation
• Hidden Mickey’s
• Disney World Wait Times, Dining and Maps Free is from the folks at UndercoverTourist.com. The app offers good descriptions of the rides

Other available iPhone apps include:

• Walt Disney World Notecast is thorough and loaded with photos, but not free at $3.99 on iTunes. This is an entire Disney guide contained in an app. Contains tips, history and is very detailed. This guide is great for Disney novices
• Disney World Magic Guide $4.99 is a well-rated app with maps, wait times, restaurant info
• Disney World Dining $1.99. This is a great companion for Disney World dining. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan the app tells you which restaurants are covered on your meal plan. This app includes full menus with prices and a Near Me feature which tells you the distance to your dining destination based on GPS technology. You can also e-mail a list of your advance dining reservations to yourself
• Disney World Wait Times Free gives you the wait times for Walt Disney World attractions. This one gets mixed reviews, but it is free. The wait times reported come from an algorithm based on the number of user-submitted wait times and how recent the wait times were submitted. 
• WDW Pics - Walt Disney World Wallpapers has beautiful pictures
• Mouse Trivia- Free Movie, Animation & Theme Park Quiz has some great Disney trivia to pass the time while standing in line
