We had a chance to catch up with Emily A. Woesthoff from BabyCakes NYC bakery. Read our exclusive interview below.
WDW-Resorts: Can you tell us a little bit about your bakery?
Emily: BabyCakes NYC is a gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegan bakery located in the Downtown Disney Marketplace. We opened this location in 2010, and have additional locations in both New York City and Los Angeles.
WDW-Resorts: Can you describe the special dietary needs you can accommodate?
Emily: All of our products are free of gluten, wheat, dairy, and eggs. Our items are completely vegan, and we operate in a dedicated gluten-free, vegan kitchen.
WDW-Resorts: What is the best way to order a cake from you?
Emily: We take orders over the phone daily. Our phone number is 407.938.9044, and we are available to take orders between 9am and 5pm.
WDW-Resorts: Where do you deliver?
Emily: We deliver within the Walt Disney World Resort, and in the greater Orlando area. We ship nationally between our three bakeries. Additionally, we are able to deliver cakes to most table service restaurants within Walt Disney World.
WDW-Resorts: Can we get cakes outside Walt Disney World?
Emily: Yes, we offer local delivery within the Orlando area (Kissimmee, Windermere, Winter Park, etc)
WDW-Resorts: Do you sell any items other than cakes?
Emily: Yes! We bake cupcakes, cookies, brownies, doughnuts, and loaves daily
WDW-Resorts: Is there anything else you would like to tell us about BabyCakes NYC?
Emily: Aside
from our bakery in the Downtown Disney Marketplace, you can also find
BabyCakes items at the following locations: The Beach Club Marketplace,
